New Partnership Between TR Equipment AB and Innova Care Concepts to Broaden Access to Disability Support Technology

 A new collaboration is announced today between leading UK patient hygiene specialist TR Equipment and disability technology experts Innova Care Concepts will widen access to an extensive range of products to support assisted bathing, showering and rehabilitation needs across the United Kingdom. 

The partnership, which will see Innova Care Concepts provide support to TR Equipment in bringing best-in-class technology to people who require specialist support with daily washing and hygiene tasks, will cover the provision of unique shower trolleys, adapted bathtubs and shower chairs, adding to Innova’s extensive range of disability technology products which include hydrotherapy pools, advanced motorised wheelchairs, highly specialised hospital beds as well as the creation and installation of Changing Place toilet facilities.

“TR and Innova is a unique, highly complementary match-up which allows us to bring the benefits of high grade disability technology in a far more holistic way than has been seen in the UK market historically,” said TR Equipment Chief Executive Officer Mico Olsen.

The agreement between the two businesses will see TR transition its current local sales model in the UK to an Innova-led sales approach which takes advantage of Innova’s deep experience in working to meet the needs of the UK disability community. A particular focus of the new collaboration will be on the needs of younger people who require bathroom equipment which provides a sensory experience as well as the basics of personal washing and hygiene.
