TR Equipment in Tranås has almost 40 years of experience in creating specially adapted products within patient hygiene. By paying attention to trends, changes in the industry and customer’s wishes, we strive to always offer the most modern and best products on the market.

TR Equipment has a long and interesting history. It all started in 1985, when the company went under the name KEBO. A product segment within patient hygiene was then presented, for example in the form of adjustable bathtubs, shower trolleys and patient lifts. The company changed its name to TR Equipment in 1990.

- We create specially adapted solutions of the highest quality. We deliver products that meet the specific requirements and needs of different countries, says Mico Olsen, who has been the company's CEO since September 2022.

Customised solutions

Today, TR Equipment's range includes adjustable bathtubs, shower trolleys, mobile bathtub lifts and shower chairs. The end users are people with low mobility and a need for care. All products are manufactured in Sweden and marketed by subsidiaries in Sweden, Germany and the USA. From Sweden, the products are marketed through a wide distributor network all over the world.

- We have created a global presence through our subsidiaries and our distributor network. The goal is to continue to strengthen our brand, through close collaboration with our partners.

Among other things, Mico highlights the products for burn patients, these are products that are specially designed to be used to treat people with burns. These products are well established in the market and are used in burn and rehabilitation centres for wound management.

Trends and developments

TR Equipment has a clear goal.

- We want to be a leader in the industry by offering unique and niche products that meet the needs of both customers and industries. We want to offer and develop products that help both the care recipients and the care providers, explains Mico.

With almost 40 years of experience, the employees at TR Equipment have their finger on the pulse of the industry. They constantly work to follow trends and strive to improve their products.

- We have a dedicated team of 16 employees in 3 countries. By working closely with our distributors and paying attention to changes in the industry, we can continue to be market leaders in our area, says Mico.

Mico concludes by saying that TR Equipment is determined to continue its successful journey of offering innovative and high-quality solutions, which make everyday life better for end users. This work is facilitated by the fact that it is now part of the MIDAQ group, a Småland based investment company headquartered in Jönköping.

- With support from MIDAQ, we see a bright future and are ready to face the challenges of the coming years, concludes Mico.
